Roky alive and well and still levitatin'! The Black Angels are the perfect backing band for Roky. They even brought in Tommy Hall's electric jug (an essential part of the Elevators sound... I know... I saw them many times.) Bravo to all involved and LOVE you Roky. Just wish Stacy and Tommy were still with you. (Stacy "The Dark Angel" Sutherland RIP). Cheesey wanker critics on here can suck my ass. You have absolutely NO IDEA what Roky means to people who WERE THERE.... and are STILL HERE! FTW!

@@written12 A lot better than that lameass Okkervil River band that Roky's brother made him record with for his last album. Roky was a diverse musician (psychedelic, hard rock, 50's ballads) but he was not a "roots rock" musician, and that was a bad mismatch.

He was GREAT in 'You're Gonna Miss Me', not so great in 'two-headed Dog'. Love how he can still do the high notes and with even more grit these days, like 'sand and glue' or maybe sand and bone
