I saw a young guy wearing a Roky Erickson t-shirt in Hollywood several years ago. I pointed at his shirt and said "Hey, Roky Erickson!". He told me I was the first person to accurately identify his shirt and that most people thought it was Jack Black. JB would be a great choice to play Roky. Let's hope that becomes a reality some day.

Man. Ive smoked my share and taken many many tabs. When i was younger i looked up to this cat. Musicians are not perfect and i prefer live to album, but i do believe this is the first and last time i will be veiwing this version. : ( Yeah so i just watched it again, and i shoulda listened to myself. I was in a band in the 00s and i havent sang in years and im not gonna anymore. I love Roky, but future me, this isnt the version you are looking for.
