This series is incredibly helpful, however I have a super annoying thing I cannot find a way out of - whenever I press the 'START/STOP - TAP' button I wind up with obnoxious air horn and in-built drum pattern. I can access the 808 and friends through the sequencer to play around with, but when I go beyond that step to in-put a sequence I get airhorn. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you resolve it? TBH, I'd love to completely delete tie airhorn.....

Where can I find a list of all the TRS sounds by Pad, you did it too quickly for me to figure out? I didn't see it in the DJ202 manual??

Hi Daniel. At 5.00 in this tutorial, after pressing the start/stop button on the sequencer side, the green play head does not move across all 16 pads but rather only 3 on one side and three on the other. Is there another tutorial on how to clear that? Thanks -Joe

I just saw a tutorial that explained it press & hold PARAM - then the pad you want to clear

Maybe it´s too fast for your eyes but it moves across all. Remember it goes from 8 pads on left side and then 8 pads on the right side.

It´s a sampler sound. Press the horn on the top left in serato software and you can in the middle sections see the sounds.

Is this controller in standalone mode via USB powered while you using the sequencer? or it is connected to your PC with Serato?

@@djelbrighton3004 so actually looking further into it i found out you can use it standalone for tge sequencer but ofcourse only built in sounds like the 808 kit.. for sample sequencing you need serato tho !

the sequencer is standalone and doesn't need serato. having serato will just let you sync the drum machine to a track, but you dont have to do this if you just want to use the drum machine. you can NOT export midi files of your sequences though, nor does the midi port send midi CC. the midi port only sends start/stop and sync.

Hey there! According to your info, holding shift and pressing sequencer twice I’m in instrument mode and can choose between TR-909, TR-808, TR-707, and TR-606. But actually, holding shift and pressing sequencer twice I can choose 12 different instrument kits (8 + 4 after pressing parameter). So, how many instrument kits does one drum machine have, 12 or only 3? 4 drum machines with 3 instrument kits? Thanks in advance!
