I bought one of these when they cam out has there been any changes from the original

Quite a lot; multitrack lengths, track playback trigger modes, flexible part length scaling, track delay, scale modes, Bluetooth, expanded quantize notes+lengths, realtime midi FX like arpeggiator, polymux and chords, different clock slave modes, even on sync inputs, part templates, program change assistant, midi event editor, partial songmode loops, part queue playback modes, … and I probably forgot a few here..

Yes this is already in there - under track length (ALT+1) you can select a track and set it’s playback queue properties
