brillant set ! Can you explain me how you managed the smooth transition at 2:54 between pattern 1 and 2, where (I think) we can still hear the sample on track 6 from pattern 1, without it being cut by the sample of the same track from pattern 2 starting playing. Trying to figure out the P-6 while waiting for mine 🙂

Hey thank you so much! Yes so the sample I chopped up has a longer tail, (the individual samples have longer tails) so when I stop the beat or transition to a new pattern the tail will keep playing into the next track. I also have reverb and delay on that sample so it will also make it sound smoother in a sense 😅 it’s a fun little machine, hope you enjoy it when it arrives and thank you for the comment! 😊

@@FragDamon That's dope I haven't used the T-8 or J-6 but they look cool to sample! I actually have made a few free sample packs/loops of melodic ambient stuff and I make them using FL studio and plugins like Aanalog Lab V among others as well! In this case I had to shorten the samples a lot and use the software that came with the P-6 to make sure I can have enough space. Then I just used the slice feature on the P-6 and resampled it like that :D

i guess its really easier to make good portable samplers than half priced op1, as what op1 do wasnt standard before it came out. if you look for halfpriced op1 check nunomo qun mk2, it can more than op1 but not in so funky way
