It's nice when a keyboard manufacturer demonstrates their keyboard with musicians that play what you play. This is how you can tell if this instrument is the right fit for you. I love the way this gentleman play. I would buy this keyboard just his playing alone. I'm just interested in the sounds. I'm not tech savvy. Just a piano player😀😀😀

How does the weight of the keys feel compared to the Rd-2000? I know they both have PHA-4 keys but wanna make sure it feels the same despite the plastic build

Actually, the don't have the same key action. The Roland RD-2000 is a top notch stage piano and comes along with the widely acclaimed PHA-50 key action. I own a FP-30 with its PHA-4 key action for years and play regulary also on other digital pianos. I think the PHA-4 is the best key action you can get for its money - not less nor more. Of course it has its drawbacks, so I guess you won't manage to play Billy Joel's Prelude on it - irrespective of your piano skills. But for most piano music, it will do its job and feels nice to play.

Solid Brass hey man! You’re right. I double checked and the 2000 has pha-50, while the rd88 has pha-04. I played a RD2000 and love the key action and played a fp30 and don’t like it so much honestly 😢 just the price difference is too much. I looked up and fp90 has pha50 so maybe that’s the better option but it’s about 600 bucks more than the rd88. And I love the look of the rd88! I just wish it had pha50 instead of pha-04

@@biubis-zh3zj Gracias amigo, y que tal el P515?, lo prefiero con altavoces incluidos, que tan diferente es la tecla con el CP88 y con la del Roland?. Recomiendas el Roland FP10?.

CON TU COMENTARIO ME CONFIRMAS QUE HIZE UNA BUENA ELECCIÓN COMPRANDO EL CP88, PERO NECECITO OTRO TECLADO UN POCO MAS LIVIANO PARA TOCAR AFUERA, YA QUE NO QUIERO MOVER EL CP88, PUES LO COMPRÉ PARA TENERLO ESTABLE EN LA IGLESIA Y DE AHI NO LO MUEVO. DAME UNA SUGERENCIA, YA QUE ESTOY PENSANDO COMPRAR EL ROLAND RD88 PARA TOCAR AFUERA. ESPERO SU RESPUESTA🙏.

I like it because of its plastic case. I have a Korg SV1 73 that's all metal and only 73 keys. Great at what it does, but heavy! The Roland offers more and weighs next to nothing. I bought a Casio case that fits it perfectly. With the keyboard on my back I can load in to a gig with one trip amp, stand and wires included. Important for gigging musicians in cities.
