Man I just got one of these and am overwhelmed at all the features. Thanks for breaking it down so well!

This video is exactly what I needed. Thank you for walking us through everything in such a straightforward manner. Would you be opposed to dropping another tutorial where you cover the arpeggiator? So glad I found your channel, your content is class !

Had a dilemma. Wanted to like the video, but you already had 303 likes. Didn’t want to ruin that. Good video. Thanks.

Thank you so much for the video! I am terrible at menu diving-especially with the S-1 because of the 8 bit decimal display-but your tutorial helped a ton!

I got it a while back but haven’t messed with it too much. I like it tho for a small synth

Thanks a lot for this video. It really helps to get into this great synth. Can you tell us, which plugin you use for the oscilloscope please.
@anreoil29 күн бұрын
The oscilloscope is the one of AudioKit Pro. Free, Open Source, etc. For MacOS and iOS only, though. So, MacBook or iPad.

Thank you so very much for this fine and interesting video, as I am in the market for purchasing one of these soon. Does this unit support MIDI VOLUME (Controller 07)?

What is the oscilloscope that you have hooked up?

I am so close to buying one of these for me for my birthday. This or a ebayed microfreak. Thoughts? First physical synth for a guitarist who has fiddled with synth apps - came to electronics after being seduced from simple guitar by midi guitar2 plugin in loopy pro and Viking synth.

@@VeloVios thanks so much for comprehensive reply - much appreciated. Always happy to take any info from experienced folks.

I have both and relatively new with synths, and while I definitely appreciate both for different reasons, if I could have only one it would be the MicroFreak hands down.
@DEADMOOSE238 ай бұрын
Microfreak easier to use and learn. Needs effects to sound good really. The s1 has most effects you need and great tones but it's much harder to learn and use

Does it compatible with velocity from midi controller

How do i switch to different sounds? Im only able to access different sounds if im on bank 1. But if im in bank 2-4 it only gives me one sound.
@TheSoundTestRoom11 ай бұрын
Yes, that is correct, only Bank 1 contains factory programmed sound and sequences, Banks 2, 3 & 4 are empty user banks so you can program your own sounds and sequences.
@DEADMOOSE238 ай бұрын
The s1 was a little harder to get started with then larger synths. I know the good sounds are in there. Just need to get to them lol.
@metalforever120858 ай бұрын
I feel utterly lost trying to learn the S1. The J6 and T8 are way simpler than this thing.
@DEADMOOSE238 ай бұрын
@@metalforever12085 yeah I have the t8 and it was simpler. But time consuming to program the bass without midi. I have some other synths they all take some time to get used to. I want a j6 as well.

True. It's not user-friendly. If they would create the remote control app for it, it would help everyone.
