Roland SC-55mkII vs Nuked SC-55: Comparing boot animation and demo

I use the real Roland SC-55mkII to record the startup animation after powering on, and the animation in the demo song. Then I used editing software to align the Nuked SC-55 and real SC-55mkII together for everyone to compare.
I checked frame by frame to help align the video. When the demo song starts playing, I will no longer intervene in the alignment. I found that the real SC-55mkII and the Nuked SC-55 will slowly stagger, showing that the Nuked SC-55 is faster than the SC-55mkII. But this difference can only be compared using this kind of video. It's impossible to hear the difference between the two with human ears.
The sound source for this video is a Nuked SC-55, not the real Roland SC-55mkII.

its actually a good idea to rely on mk1 when using nuked because mk2 has pitch shifting + instrument mapping issues on it and requires several restarts to get something to play right

Thanks for providing download links and sharing what you have! I didn't have the SC-155 ROMs. Hopefully other ROMs become available soon. I have incomplete CM300/SCC-1 and SCB-55 sets also.

SC-55模拟器偏快的原因是实机的更新间隔并不是标准的12 cycle导致的，大概是12 cycle多一点，模拟器的计时器用的是标准的12 cycle

日立的H8/532这个MCU执行一个指令需要大约12个周期多一点，但是模拟器的MCU执行一个指令的周期确是标准的12周期，导致模拟器快一点

我覺得其實說起來這個不是真的嚴重到需要嚴肅面對的問題。因為播放的歌曲速度與原機有差異，這個是【播放 MIDI 訊號送出時序】上的些微差異。我們可以說模擬出來的 SC-55 在處理播放 demo 時的 CPU 跑的快了一點點，但這個應該不影響實際使用。因為一個音源器演奏歌曲的快慢是播放端決定的，不是音源器決定的。

徹底模擬上面所有關鍵元件的運作，然後執行上面的原始程式，所以相當消耗當代電腦的運算，也是因此幾乎一步到位，只剩下很多小地方我們聽不出來，但作者說需要修正。

我跟作者群往來書信後得知 Nuked SC-55 用的是低階模擬，方法是開蓋關鍵的 IC 把電路拍下來用電腦模擬電路，所以不用真的知道核心在運做什麼，只要搞懂對關鍵 IC 送什麼，出什麼，就幾乎模擬出來了。好處是模擬精準，壞處是這樣的模擬很耗費 CPU 運作。
