I want a TM-6 pro, I bought td-17 instead and I kinda regret doing that. I didn’t realize how important direct outs were going to be for live/recording purposes. I will be keeping my td-17 however I’m definitely going to add TM-6 to my drum rig. Looking for a used model currently

I need too do a more extensive video about the TM 6. I use it all the time with my set up and do not come close to all the options. it has been a go to for every gig and recording . I also used it to create a E-kit with mesh heads on my acoustic drums. So, yes it is a great option for drummers who want add something more to their set up.

@@moondrums I would very much enjoy another look and deeper dive video about TM-6 pro. The 3 knobs that help quickly dial and shape the sounds are my favorite. Not having to menu dive on small screen and quickly shape sounds on the fly is such great feature. The Yamaha EAD-10 and new DTX/DTX Pro modules have same feature. I’m very torn on what to buy now. Both are so awesome, the Japanese drum companies are really making 🔥🔥 hybrid drum gear

Do you use the TM-2 and TM-6 with regular heads, or just the mesh? If regular heads, do you mike both at the same time?

I plan on expanding this video very soon. Yes I keep regular heads with the kit while I trigger the kick drum. And yes I also mic the kick drum in addition to the trigger. Thanks for watching , and I will post a demo of my set up in a couple weeks.
