The pastebin link in the description has a list of my note settings for MIDI if you want to use the TR-6S as a MIDI sound module. Do you want me to do a run down of any other bits of the TR-6S? Let me know if you do! :)

Hey there. Thank you for all the helpful videos. Have you ever searched for a way to add subtle Velocity variations (apart from the Accent function) ? As in typing in various Velocities for different steps in order to humanize it a bit? Is it even possible on this machine? Altering the velocity of individual steps?

Your videos on the 6s have been a heaven's send. Is there a way to boost the memory on this thing? I imported 2 drumkits to the device via SD card. Ran out of space.

Not that I’ve seen, no - it’s a shame it doesn’t read it directly from the SD card

Hi there, I take it there is a way of saving the tunes you've made right? Or is this what you mean by "kit & pattern"?
@afrohamurai3 жыл бұрын
So the drum patterns you make are saved as patterns, and the drum sounds you make are saved as kits
@benaskrensfriend49453 жыл бұрын
@@afrohamurai ah I see so how do you save the track you've made? I've just ordered one today so I haven't got hands on yet, it looks a little confusing at the moment
@afrohamurai3 жыл бұрын
@@benaskrensfriend4945 if you wanted to save just the drum pattern you make, you’d save the pattern. If you wanted to save the drum sounds as well, make sure to save the pattern and the kit and it’ll do that for you too 👍🏾

@@afrohamurai oh man it's here today, I'm having a few problems straight away 🤦♂️ it seems like whatever I load it will play its own beat even if I highlight say 5 hand claps in a row or 1 on its own it doesn't seem to change the beat or anything of it? Seems to just play its own tune whatever I load?

I want to connect the tr6s via midi with my organelle to sync the tempo but the tr6s is triggering notes on my organelle. Is there a way to only use tempo sync?

Is there step probability, to dial in the chance that a step will be played. ( mute percentage). Or will it be implemented in a firmware upgrade. Even a volca drum has this, wonder why Roland can’t implement this?
@afrohamurai3 жыл бұрын
I got no idea on that - It definitely isn’t anywhere in the TR-6Ss documentation. It’s weird because the TR-06 (the Boutique 606) has probability chance in it. The only solution I’ve had is to work with probability in Ableton and sequence it there
@isocarboxazid Жыл бұрын
@@afrohamurai I'm looking at the TR Editor from Roland, and the instruments do have probability there, but I don't see it on the device itself.

do you know if the TR8S samples are compatible wiv the TR6S???
@afrohamurai3 жыл бұрын
I mean, if the samples are saved on the SD card you can re-import them on the TR-6S, but if you mean the built in sounds the TR-8S has they're already in the TR-6S
