is there a way to have TR-REC automatically follow and show the steps of whatever pattern is currently playing, like other drum machines?

Thanks for your videos, they are a great help. Is there an option to edit the fill patterns while a normal pattern is playing?

I watch many of your videos and i cant find the option to copy exactly the same sounds that i have in A to B or exactly the same sounds that i have in A to D for example, is possible?? im trying what you do but is doesnt copy. thanks in advance

Hey, well normally by pressing Copy (hold down) + variation A + Variation B (for example) this will copy in the fastest way your Variation A to Variation B. This works when you are in the TR-REC mode. If this doesn't work try press Copy and select Variation A and manually select the B Variation. If this also doesn't work maybe try to do a reset on your TR-8s or eventually an software update. Let me know how you go.

Hi, nice videos, very useful. I am having issues playing multiple patterns. I press and hold the A variation and select B-H but when I let go it does not play in order. It almost seems to be starting with a letter at random as if it had been programmed this way. How can I play A-H in order. I am also getting like a double playback when I select A-H and the beat is off time. I have to select A by itself to eliminate the double playback and get back on time. Lastly the variation will sometimes turn yellow. Please advise. Thank you

Hey, thank you for the positive feedback, much appreciated. Honestly this sounds a a little weird to me. What software version are you running? I might suggest a factory reset and see if this will change something. I never had a double playback so far.

Thank you for the reply, great videos. I am triggering the TR with pro tools. Question, when playing variations, sometimes I press the stop button and I am in the middle of a variation, and when I press play it starts from that point, not from the beginning of the variation. Is there a way to make sure I start at the beginning of the variation when I pres play?@@choppedstrandaudio4561

hey bro youre videos we're a godsend for starting with my new tr-8s :o i love it even tho i never make a track with it, just jamming :D do you incorporate it into youre "productive" time? I thought about getting an audio interface and record 6 of the 10 sounds individually, then I can imagine using it in a track.. I just can't deal with the one take and no individual processing in the box. do you maybe know if I can jump to a variation without undoing the selected variation length? (When I have A-F turned on and it is playing B currently and I want to go to F, when i Press F the chain gets destroyed and only F plays. you know what I mean?) Thanks again for the videos!
