I have an urgent question. I am a Video Engineer in Las Vegas using a V-160HD switcher. I was updating the firmware from 1.2 to the current 2.02. Looked like everything was going fine but then it just stopped. The builh in monitor displays "Checking USB Memory" but that's it. No buttons are responsive and I don't want to restart for obvious reasons. It's a brand new unused 128GB USB 3.1 thumb drive with only the firmware

I recall that we solved this via product support. If anyone has issues updating the firmware, please visit roland.com/backstage for fastest response. If you see the "Checking USB Memory" for more than 10 seconds, the update never started because that USB flash drive is not compatible. A 16GB or less USB 2.0 drive works best, preferably from a major brand.

Thanks! We installed 2.01 only to find out the tally frame indicators have gone mad. However, we re-installed version 1.15 which now has bricked our device. What can we do? We cannot get to the update procedure by pressing the three buttons and booting, because the screen just stays black. Switching on the V-160HD normally the unit crashes at »LOADING STILL IMAGE 2«.
