We have audio coming in via RCA from our mixer. Its coming into our Roland V-1HD. When audio comes out of the Roland V-1HD, does it come out of HMDI? Or when you come in with RCA, is the only audio out option RCA (and not HMDI). We really want HDMI out for audio because the our is going into our YOLOLIV YoloBox.

We're doing an event attended by several deaf people. We will be doing live IMAG and they want the speakers comments to have instant captioning. If we have a stenographer with a captioning machine, Can this be done through the Roland?

This is only a switcher. How do you record your video? Does it have a on board SD card slot to actually record your live video? What kind of a recorder do you use? To record your live video, where the HDMI output connect to, ? Any answer is greatly appreciated. Thanks Larry

How long of chords can you get by with for camera hook ups? I had a Balckmagic and I couldn't get over 12' on the HDMI inputs. So my cameras were only spread out 6' each way from the switcher when you allow for 6' of that from the floor to the camera output. Not really a ideal situation for a multi camera set up. I asked before but now answers there came.

we have just ordered one of these to use with a two camera set up. How do we record the output ? will it go into Final Cut Pro x 3.1 on a Mac or straight to a 1k plus harddrive so I can then drop it into final cut after to adjust colour ? Great video thank you

A person on the comment section said something about an HDMI length limitation that other video switchers might suffer from. We use two 150 feet HDMI cables and are looking to get this switcher. Can anyone clarify what Reel McCoy was saying? Will 150 feet HDMI cables work on this switcher? Thanks! EDIT: Will the V1-HD work with an HDMI Fiber optic cable? The HDMI cables that we're currently using are 150 feet but are fiber optic. Has anyone had any experience using a HDMI fiber optic cable on a V1-HD? Thanks for any information.

Hi. According to HDMI specifications, HDMI has a limit of 50' in cable run. It is true that it can run further, but the signal is only guaranteed to 50'. We cannot promise that it will work with 150' cables, but it might. Thanks for your question and I hope this helps.
