You just need a midi controller Keyboard with midi out and possibility to change midi channels so you can play each part. Have fun...🎹🎛👋🏻

Hi awesome track ! I have Question about the verselab If you record midi, are you limited by step sequencer ? On tr8s i m forced to use Shuffle for cheat on certains Key step. The grid is very limited for song. Same here ?

Hy there SOUKEYS!! Amazing content! I'm very interested on the Verselab as a singer and multi instrumentalist. Do you know if I can perform live using live vocal while playing guitar at the same time with the groovebox playing the song simultaneously? I don't know if you can enable double inputs XLR and P10 at the same time with the Roland Verselab MV-1. I know that separately it would work as a charm for single track recording... Thx…👋🏻 You have to decide Mic Input or Line Input. There is also phantom power for condenser Mic and a lot of cool vocal EFX. But no HiZ guitar input. I think it is difficult to use the MV-1 as an looper for performance. You have to prepare your audio track or samples before. Have fun and stay healthy…🤘🏻🎹🎧

Thx 🙏🤘🏼...It's a cme xkey 25. It is a usb keyboard without midi, so i have to use the kenton usb midi host.

ok ill bite! that demo has really got me thinking. the way the layout is set out supports a slick workflow. are you having to do any workarounds...any kinks that need work. for someone not as gifted as you, bit concerned there is no undo button. youve probably used a lot of kit...where do you rank it?

Thx..🤘🏻🎛 Yes, everything was created in real time. You have for kick, snair, hihat and a whole kit as seperate track. Undo is not necessary, because you can remove or keep any step. The possibility of automation for the parameters could be more extensive. The MV-1 has unfortunately too little controller. But the sound engine is really huge.

I hope they make a bigger one with more instrument tracks(16) and more sampling time an hours per project and 2 vocal tracks buttons but 1 for vocals the other for sampling so you can do both and still have enough time to do vocals for the whole song. Oh and a bigger screen. Yes I know the iPad thing but what if I don’t have one? A 7inch display would be nice.

Honestly this is a niche market, there is not as many of us who like to use hardware compared to those who just use plugins and DAW, and for obvious reasons DAW is essentially limitless, hardware is inherently coming with limitations

Roland verse Lab can be easily controlled via Midi In. The different parts receive on different Midi channel. So you only need a midi keyboard with switchable midi channel. And that's it
