This was awesome. Rolando Villazón is one of my all-time favorite tenors to listen to. I really enjoy his duets with Anna Netrebko. He is not only one of the best tenors in the world but his acting skills on the operatic stage surpass most other famous tenors by a longshot.

A beautiful man a real treasure so talented and so real as to never be arrogant just grateful for his gift and happy to share it. Wonderful 😊 And to add a comment he can sing as good as anyone. Not to mention his mastery of languages No pop singer could do this they wouldn’t be noticed. They are ordinary singers mostly. Artificially promoted based on attractive looks mostly.

He was not more special than the choir thought he just was another loud tenor. So nothing special there.

You don't know much about advanced pop singing. Check for example Adam Lambert. It's the classical/opera singers who are the ones who are usual ordinary. Among the public I would say Rolando is almost totally unknown outside local fame. After the great Pavarotti there are no great singers coming out from the opera community, an empty space.
