Thanks for this tutorial. I’m hoping that someday Apple will give the roles another overhaul. What they have is very strong, but I hope on the next major update schedule, they give it some love and make it even better than it already is.

Now for my next trick, I'm going to apply an EQ and compressor to every clip in my dialog role... Oh wait. I really hope Apple adds that into FCP soon. Even adding color corrections and grades would be so much easier if you could do it to an entire Role

Is there a way to select all the items of one role at once ? Or do you have to highlight them and then select them one by one ?

Yes there is, it's in the clips tab of the index panel, use the search field to find the role (type in the name of the role) then select the clips. It's not the easiest way but it IS a way. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and the question!

@@RafaelLudwig thank you! I didn’t think about that! I had to rename my roles because some were the same words that you could find in the titles, so random titles would show up in the search. But it’s way easier and quicker than before! Thank you so much
