I wish someone would do a wishon vs everything thing else on the market comparison. I own and play his clubs 575, 565, 919 driver, 929 hs. I also own and play many other company's products they keep up and perform every bit as good if not better in many areas of feel, workability and performance. Most company's are just now following his footsteps in club fitting aspects of the game to people's ability. Thank you Tom for what you done for the game of golf.

How very interesting, and how very informative! I've watched this video more than once to increase my knowledge on how the golf club actually works! Tom, you are without a doubt the "guru" of golf club fitting and construction. Your videos helped me decide to purchase the Sterling irons that I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of. I know they will be fantastic!!

Tom, very interesting video. It helps explain why I have hit drivers with an R shaft and they feel and respond so differently. I am afraid I fall into the early release players - though my teacher is working with me on my release. Additionally, while I like the mph in clubhead I get with lighter drivers - like the Callaway V series and Cobra LTD drivers I find myself losing the feel for the clubhead and getting out of rhythm easily. I have hit a lot (dozens) of used drivers at the PGA Superstore near me and have found certain clubs - like a Srixon 545 with a stiff shaft, that I hit consistently better than other drivers. I play a Cobra F6 which I hit pretty well. I still like the feel and control I felt when I used to have a Taylormade R9 460. Someone traded one in a couple of weeks ago and I hit this 6 year old club as far or further than the other drivers I hit that day. Love your videos! Thank you!

I lot of information but needed. I sometimes feel that a X flex performs better than Stiff. I'm concerned on the performance of the shaft. Now I understand why my misses are left with the S flex. Oh, I also know what you buy off the rack, is not always what is stated. For example, a X flex might really be stiff and Stiff might be X. I will consider the weight more in the future.

Very interesting thanks. Question: why do I have a tendency to overdraw shafts that are too stiff and cut shafts that are too soft? (Standard shot is draw). Seems like convention is the opposite.

Just 7000 views. Yet some golf video of some pleb talking about 'THE LONGEST DRIVER EVER!!!1111' will get quarter of a million views. I guess clubfitting will remain a niche industry for those golfers who can see past the marketing nonsense and actually care about the total shots taken instead of the latest shiny toy with dishonest marketing behind it. See the latest Cobra video where they give Rickie Fowler his 5 iron and then have him hit a new 5 iron from a different set which has nearly 6 degrees more loft. Then they stand there in awe at the extra 15 yards he picks up. Yeah no shit. He hit a 3 iron. Which a standard amateur can't hit.
