Absolutely love this … had my eye on the steel Daytona but after handling this TT reference a couple of times, I’m in love with it. I just picked up my BLNR from my AD and registered interest in this model - they quoted less than 2 years.

The finest Daytona. The stainless simply doesn't have enough prestige in my opinion, and the only solid gold Rolex I'd want is a Day-Date. Daytona was made to be in Rolesor. Love it.

Did you get it yet? I asked my AD for this in May after buying my BLNR. They quoted about 18 months but have always delivered quicker.

My only other criticism would be it does feel a touch small on the wrist, I have 7.25 inch wrists and it feels a lot smaller than the sub/gmt (probably because of the case). great review

@@watchreviews4k yes, brand new..came through an AD in Germany somewhere..Hong Kong had the most Rolex AD in the world at the time..although I didn’t buy mine through an AD. Got it from a “grey” shop. Paid around £10.500

Excelllent review of this superb piece, John! As you said, probably the best Rolex model ever. It is a shame that nowadays they are only really available to watch flippers. The average collector simply does not stand a chance of ever being able to buy one at retail. Thanks for sharing. Regards
