It's an amazing watch. In a modern context, with a jubilee it's actually a dressy enough watch for any occasion. Looks more sporty with the oyster to me. Still perfect though.

Yes Csaba, the Jubilee does make it more like a dress piece. The Oyster more like a sports piece. I prefer the fluted bezel with Jubilee bracelet version I previously reviewed. The smooth bezel works better with the Oyster bracelet. Regards, #WR4K

I really enjoyed the play of the rhodium dial and the green numerals, but I agree with you with the single index at the 9 o’clock position. The lumeshot especially looked weird. How pleasing would have a glowing coronet been? I wouldn’t want the same clasp like the submariner, but a glidelock mechanism would be better. I personally like the oyster bracelet, only lacking female endlinks, for a more comfortable fit. But same with the casebacks, Rolex won’t change it ways, I’m guessing. It’s one of the days where I really enjoy the fluted bezel! How it catches the light… Do you know why one needs to turn the crown counterclockwise, or is it just a "gimmick"? Nice touch with the dates, in the last two videos.

With the Calibre 3135 the crown rotated clockwise, and hands rotated clockwise. The design of the 3235 is different (90% of the parts were redesigned). The gearing reverses the direction so the crown rotated clockwise makes the hands rotate anticlockwise. It takes some getting used to as the convention is clockwise crown rotation makes the hands rotate clockwise. I prefer the hands rotating clockwise when rotating the crown clockwise as it feels normal. Regards, #WR4K

@@hank7502hk I have to disagree the white index at 9 o'clock represents white line on tennis court that's what make dial unique if they have green number that make dial oral like other. They call Wimbledon because it related to tennis for a reason

The nine hour marker looks very incongruous, a strange decision really. It can only be for some weird lop sided orientation reason. Obviously well made, it’s a Rolex after all, but what a ridiculous price. Whilst I might, if I could get one, pay retail for one of these there is no way I’d pay grey market prices. It’s all bollocks imho!

Nice review. Rolex watches are nice indeed but way to expensive in relation to what you get for the money in my opinion….
