Nice watch grand seiko am from uk went to a watch shop in Canada and first time came across those watches looked very good and quality also they are expensive watches

Marcus has an epic collection. Love the Pepsi. I’ll probably never get to own one, but I’ve always considered it one of the most beautiful watches ever made 🐐 always appreciate your perspective and honesty! Nice job on the video!

I love the looks of the rolex, maybe I will get one some day. But for now I got a timex Q pepsi for just £200, and it fits exactly the same spot in my collection 😄 and imo the size is better at 38mm

Great job, Sanjay. I feel much the same, having looked at the Rolex GMT Master II for several years, having tried one on multiple times. Then 15 years later I bought a GS SLGH005 instead, followed up by a GS SBGN005, and recently a Seiko SLA043. I agree the Rolex GMT Master II is a great watch but doesn’t speak to me. For a GMT, FOR ME, the SBGN005 is more useful, since it’s HAQ, lighter, smaller (I have a 6 1/2 inch wrist), so I’m more comfortable taking it through airports and traveling in different environments. The half links on its bracelet are really cheap and disappointing though. The GS SLGH005 is way more interesting visually and technically TO ME than the Rolex GMT Master II. I have no interest in reselling any of these watches.

Rolex holds its value, but, I couldn't agree more that when you compare the movements and overall quality and finishing to other luxury brands, your comments are valid.

To this you could add the SBGM003/021/221 to the list for an incredible GMT offering. I have the former (closed caseback) as well as the Pepsi. Both are beautiful watches in their own rights.

received the blnr for my retirement last year and it's perfect. as for your link adjustment niggles, there is a way to cinch it up to the furthest point which allows for the snuggest fit for winter and easy link let's out enough for summer. the price is, well, it's the price. it along with availability sets the threshold that some aren't willing to cross, which is okay! as for me, our ad says my wife's lady date just (her third and final rolex) and my green sub (my 5th and final rolex---for now) need only to arrive and they're ours. cheers brother and i'm excited to see if and when you'll add a rolex to your collection! the new 36mm explorer would look great on you!

It’s MARKETING. And yes I own a Rolex Air King, a GS SBGN003 (I think is the number) and a couple of different Omega PO’s. Rolex is great but…mostly marketing and prestige. Omega makes a better timepiece yet we all want Rolex 🤔🤷🏼‍♂️ Great perspective Sir.

I agree with the first part of your statement. But then again, I don't want anyone to lust what's on my wrist 🙂 The Civic type R analogy doesn't quite fit and I'd hardly call Rolex the Ferrari of watches. Maybe Porche vs Lexus? 🤷‍♂️
