Is the artem strap you have the "standard size"?

A few years late to the conversation, but I have both the Tudor and the Oris. Honestly? The Tudor BB58 is on my wrist 5x more than the Oris. It's just a much better feeling watch - as it should be given the cost. But yeah, I have always loved Oris and it's been the underdog brand I root for.

It's a great looking watch and a fantastic bracelet. They look good together, but I think this bracelet looks better on smaller case sizes.

Hey engineer i was wondering what made you sell this watch i owned a sje093 i regreeted selling that one i feel like this is the next one my list so just want your opinion on what made yoy move on from this one?

Mine was running 18-22 seconds fast per day. I returned it’s this was totally unacceptable for that kind of money. My sbgc242 spring drive Chrono is 1/4 of a second fast every day. My Glashutte SEAQ runs 1.3 seconds fast and my Omegas are also comparable. How does Grand Seiko even have the guts to sell these to the public? Should be ashamed.

It's just the lacquer on the dial mate. I had a Seiko Presage Enamel watch that had even deeper distortion effects than what you see here, over much of dial, more so around the date cut-out window. The effect was actually mesmerizing to me. But if you don't want anything like that, or are a more 'plain-jane' guy (lol) then I'd just stick to very traditional kinds of watches. Your level of purism is befitting your profession, mr engineer man.

Id burn your other 3 watches to have this one

Thank you the review. I have this one. It’s absolutely a stunning timepiece. This is why I have this watch. It is definitely different….. meaning that not everyone has the same watch. People will ask me what watch is this one. It makes it unique. Btw, yes, the watch box is incredible. I just lift the lever and let it open by itself.

Just had a grand seiko in hand it it felt disappointing. The end links and gap between case/lugs and bracelet didn't compare to rolex at all.

I have the men's version of the PO (43,5mm.) Wears like a 42mm.

The 54 on bracelet would have been better for your wrist size. The Seamaster looks too big, IMO.

This watch is kind of huge, bracelet isn't very elegant or tapered.

Local watch place had the Hank Aaron. Asked if they could source the Clemente but I'm not real hopeful at this point.
