My favourite watch in my collection. So comfortable to wear, and so different. Don't see many around, and if discontinued, the price will go through the roof. Love the Milguass especially this black dial version.

@@acquired.archives every year rolex bring out new models, and every year they retire some from the catalogue. The last 3 years the Milguass has been rumoured to be retired. But it still lives on for another year yet.

@@ashjohnson7165 won't retire, most propably it will just get updated with the 32 series movement. (like the sub,gmt, explorer, etc). I have a feeling that the milgauss is more popular than sky dweller and the air king , they won't kill the line just like that.

I love this watch. The green sapphire works so well with the colours of the dial. The case and bracelet are beautifully finished. I'd have one in a heartbeat. Tim's presentation is as always flawless.

I never bothered much looking at the Milgauss in detail, but your review made me like it a lot. Especially this particular one. Love the two-colour lume shot and that green hue-like aestetic around the bezel area. Edit: And that seconds hand is cool too.

I seriously love this watch. It's such a fun piece from an otherwise conservative brand. Going to a few AD's this weekend to see if I can find one, but I know I'm just going to find TT Datejusts and Cellinis (sigh).

I’ve always thought the Yacht Master 40 with the dark rhodium dial was my favorite Rolex. But I saw one of these in the window of my local Rolex AD the other day and it really attracted my attention...a change maybe coming 🤔

@anonymous human I have dedicated it as my dress watch when I go on occassions (whenever that happens again lol) besides my soon incoming Daytona. To me anyways, it just suits nicer as a dresser than a casual. For casual, I have my Breitling and AP. What are your 10 Rolexes? Sounds like some are the same model, just different materials?

The watch is an anachronism. It doesn't really serve a purpose now that all of Rolex's--and Omega's--sport watches are amagnetic. It should be discontinued. Time for Rolex to come up with a new, totally different watch for people who like "quirky."

It’s hard to make a case for the Milgauss over the other Rolex models in the same list price range. Not as useful as a GMT or Explorer 2; not as rugged as a Submariner; not as dressy as a Datejust; not as “clean” as the date-less Oyster Perpetual. Given a choice of Rolexes between $6k and $10k, who picks the Milgauss and why? No matter what you are looking for (other than a lightning bolt second hand), there’s a better option in the catalog.

@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 Don't get me wrong, as a owner of Iwc pilot's watches, I love a dated look when it's done right. But this looks to me like it belongs in the worst part of the 80's at best🤷‍♂️.
