Both beautiful pieces and as a root beer owner I’m slightly biased. That said having had several Rolex models over the years including other two tone steel and gold pieces the root beer just has that subtle class and understated elegance and is a must for me in a collection. Great review as well 👍

I absolutely love this CHNR. Yes, a SJ rolesor bracelet would be beautiful but the Oyster is just as elegant. Only downside is catching scratches left to right. Wish I was able to wear it as a daily without the risk of accumulating so many scratches on the bracelet.

Tried both in my wrist. Zombie looks much nicer in person than in photo. The brown color bazel for rootbeer doesnt fit my eyes although i prefer rosegold over yellow gold in most cases. Hopefully my zombie gmt will come next week 😊

I absolutely love TT Rolex with Jubilee. I own a Wimbledon dial TT DJ and a white dial TT Skydweller. I'd therefore go with the Guinness.

To be fair, the original Clint Eastwood is on a jubilee. So you'll probably need to redo the video when rolex adds the rootbeer on a jubilee in a year or two. And they will do that. I just got the call for a Guinness and I'll pick it up next week. Really happy because i think the colours look really cool together. Out of the two gold, black and grey/steel is just a crisper, sportier colour combination then the warm brown, rose gold and black.

Honestly, the rootbeer color fits much more nicely with the full gold variant and the zombie is actually kind a cool with 2 tone as all colors fit each other. On the rootbeer I do not really like the brown and steel together.

The RootBeer is distinctive. The YG is ok, but it’s really no better than the GMT II ceramic YG from a few years back. And, it has the green GMT hand, which is special. RootBeer is always the best choice.

I've had the opportunity to see both in real life and not just in pictures. I'm not a fan of the black and gray. The gray looks very muted. The root beer definitely has a lot more character. If you're going to get the black and gray just get it in stainless steel it looks a lot better with stainless steel oyster bracelet

There’s no simple answer that that one - ‘it depends’. The Batgirl is hard to compare there as it’s not a two tone watch. A lot of the points in this video apply, bracelet differences, bezel colour etc…

I love the Rootbeer. I was considering one for myself as well. I just don’t like that the polishes golden center links scratch sooooo easily. The jubilee hides those scratches better. I hope that the root beer comes on a jubilee one day (but I don’t think so 😢😅)

Call your AD and press your case- waiting times are well down and if you want the full gold version of either the. You’d probably walk out with it on your wrist with no wait. The catch is that these are £20k more expensive.
