Hey Rolf, Im from Norfolk UK - the rivers are full of chub, perch, pike - dace etc. Ive fished for chub my whole life - an extremely spooky an hard fish to catch. the river your fishing there looks insane. It looks like a trout stream but has chub in?! I currently live in New Zealand my partner is from Malmö we regularly go back on trips. I will find this river and catch my first ASP - A species I haven't ever seen and has intrigued me alot. Anyway - I love your film style been watching you since you had 2000 subs and it's great to see the channel grow and you get the recognition you deserve! 100% one of the best storytelling fishing channel out there! keep up the good work! Thanks Rolf!

I never know what your films are going to contain. Love them. Remember that most fly fishermen started course fishing/spinning and we're multi species anglers, I wouldn't worry about putting off the fly fisherman, it takes you back to where you started, just like me on a tiny 10ft wide chalk stream in Kent that is full of trout👍

I just want to say this is easily in my top 5 of favorite fishing films EVER. The fishing with bread thing is what got me into fly fishing. Oh, the days of fishing for northern pikeminnow with bread and my fly rod. Rules are rules, but more importantly they’re meant to be broken! Cheers

Brilliant! I love fishing for big chub with nymphs and dries. They get a really bad reputation from lots of anglers in Austria but I think it is far harder to catch a really big chub on the fly than a big trout. They were a new species for me too as there's not many chub rivers in Scotland...
