I didn’t know it was possible to notch tube that nicely with a angle grinder and large thin disk. I realize there is a considerable amount of skill with that “technique”, lol. Nice work, very cool to see such nice work coming out of a working man’s garage.

I’m impressed by how quickly your fit and finish has evolved over such a short time. TIM came out awesome. The ranger looks like it’s going to be almost a stock looking sleeper until you open the doors, hood, tailgate, or throttle. 👍🏻

I was thinking the same thing. I replaced my roof skin and was lazy. I ended up replacing every window on the car ($$$!). Don't catch the headliner on fire, either! haha

I’m glad you’re doing a cage, that truck is going to be a lot faster now and it’ll be a lot safer, the seat is really important also, I hope you’ll be able to reach the steering wheels and pedals with that seat placement, the kirkey seat is a lot thinner than the factory seats, you’ll be like 4” farther away from the pedals

Did you use out riggers off the frame to mount the hoop onto? The measurements you indicated lands right on the support on extended cab.

Been awhile since I last watched much of your videos and got back on them! Good to see the ranger coming along! But quick question you got the 80e with the Jake’s D3 brake right? Does it still shift itself if your just trying to cruise around too or only while racing? Never really seen anything for sure, may be a stupid question but just want to know for sure before I drop 1000+ on the valve body and it not do what I want. Ranger is lookin good as always!

It acts just like a stock computer controlled valve body, but the circuits are modified to allow trans brake. Uses all the same solenoids, but bypasses the EPS solenoid for fixed pressure.

@@BlaserBuilds okay awesome thank you! Did you have to drill out the shift passages any more or were they pretty solid from Jake’s himself? I think I’m going to end up doing a D3 valve body with a brake and probably leave it alone internally if the fluid looks good. If not then prolly get a Jake’s like stage 3 rebuild kit
