Thanks for the playthrough Jon. I have been waiting for this to hit KS so it was nice to see how it played.

Interesting play though. I missed the kickstarter campaign, but I order the game anyway. I'm looking forward to playing.

this was very enjoyable. thanks for playing, and thanks for the amount of work involved. i like the idea of a choose your adventure with dice and not just in a book.

This was interesting to watch, but I HATE the battle and skill check mechanics in this game

at the beginning, you are using items without paying the stamina cost (1 stamina per player, I believe, in the current rules). Did you forget, or did they change the rules, or am I missing something? EDIT -- on further review, I see the card does NOT show fatigue cost in the top corner, like the cards now do.

My biggest concern right now is relating to group play. Game looks amazing solo but seems like in group, it sounds like you almost need to play open hand and let everyone sort of figure out the puzzle for skill checks of fights and who plays which cards in what order. basically, does not seem to work very well for separate players playing separate hands but instead almost encourage one player or both players putting all skill cards in the middle, working out the puzzle and then playing in appropriate order. Am I missing something?

Yea it is a Solo Puzzle Game which you can play together. Alpha Leading at his best. I think its not a problem, if you like to play together, but honestly it is more fiddly, than playing it solo. Game looks not bad, it a good spin off for Roll Player and the Adventure Part seems fun, but the coop feeling / multiplayer is bad.

In a way it is also like pandemic. You can literally have an alpha player run the whole game, but that would be up to the group playing the game to control that.

So it means that one campaign book is about half an hour to playthrough? That is not too much even if it the game have 12 questbook.

klikker HUN if you watch rahdos run through he mentions that there is a mission that you can play over and over that is still story driven but is randomly generated.

This is ultra expensive. Is it worth it?

In the fight with the ogre at location E you should have spent the Lance, not discarded it.

Good catch, thanks for pointing that out. I've added a note to the Klingon subtitles.

Am not colour-blinded at all but i see that this game should be a problem. Should be nice a symbol associated to each colour/attribute

It's an interesting idea, but I can't say I'm fond of the central dice mechanic. It is far too opaque and it looks like estimating chances of success is basically impossible, and I hate that in my resolution mechanics generally. Great playthrough as always!

I can see why the dice mechanism would rub some people wrong, I'm glad the video ended up being informative for you :)

To me it looks like a more complex version of something like above and below or near and far. In those cases color of dice and explicit values of said colors were not important just total and those totals could be manipulated. I do agree that your play through of the campaign is directly impacted by both luck and the character you bring along. To me the more characters you bring the better the game will be and it would also make the game harder if you soloed with one character because you are limiting your pool of options. There are mitigations in the equipment you have but if you imported a character from rollplayer I can see where the game would be completely imbalanced because the goal in rollplayer was to gather points not determining how the equipment you purchased synergized with you character. I would definitely play through the campaign the first time with the premade characters.
