The cut length is 30” for a finished 24” handle. The width is 3 1/2”. I used 1 1/4” O rings and 1/4” cotton welt cord.

To keep the fuzz away if you start the weave in the middle the you only have to pull each side half way through. I find my thread frays less when I do beading this way

Love the handle with the lacing, great idea, instead of the cotton rope, I use clear plastic tubing, from Home Depot plumbing Dept. you can get, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 etc. Love your video as always, Have a great weekend. Barb

@@reginagraham6539 Thanks for the interest - I do not stitch over the tubing - when you fold over your folded part and stitch - stopping approx. 2.5 inches from each end then you insert tubing stopping at the end where your stitching stops - then the remaining 2.5 inches you flatten and attach to bag or however you want to attach. Make sure the space you leave to insert the tubing - whatever width you choose is wide enough to easily insert the tubing. Test First I hope this helps if you need anything else let me know. Barb
