It’s unfortunate that they don’t make a rollback that can be lined up straight with the vehicle being recovered. Is it la that all rollbacks have to lineup at an angle to the vehicle they are going to pull onto the deck ?

I didn't realize that rollback is 4 wheel drive. That explains why you are willing to take it offroad. In my neck of the country, there are no 4 wheel drive tow trucks of any kind. They are all pavement queens. Of course driving onto a privately owned paved parking lot is considered by many around here as the definition of going offroad. Most of the people who own 4 wheel drive vehicles don't know how to put them in 4 wheel drive. Heck most of them don't know the vehicle is 2 wheel drive until someone puts it in 4 wheel drive. Owning a 4 wheel drive is more about status than mobility.
