Thanks for the video and the humor, nice to hear Mr. Randy's laugh. You always go so much farther to help people than 99% of other tow companies. Not just pulling her out but helping her load up her stuff, hooking the bus up for her, getting the bus started, fixing the crappy hitch and etc. Nice to see it all done without drama or pomp and circumstance. They should have a heap of Casey's business cards at the park office to hand out, to anyone planning on pulling off the pavement, most certainly to any big rigs as the odds would not be in ones favour as per the sinking bus demo and pulling a trailer to boot. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the staff at the park gates take bets when they see certain rigs come though as to if they will end up needing to call for a tow.

RANDY!!! alive and well... Sorry , even though the 5 ton was perfect for this job where it stayed on the hard packed gravel road, I don't think we've seen it in blow sand yet and I am a bit dubious about it's capabilitys in that medium. Can't wait to be convinced that the 5 ton is as capable as it is cool with a rescue where both vehicles are in that blow sand. Lol I always enjoy the ride.👍
@CaseysOffRoadRecovery3 жыл бұрын
I use it in the sand quite often and it does and excellent job. I have pulled out dozens of motorhomes, buses, boats etc. watch more of my video's. If the 5 ton isn't the tool for the job I also have the Noddy, a loader, a skid steer, multiple jeeps and a whole arsenal of recovery rigs at my disposal.

@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery Casey, love the channel and didn't mean to get your hackles up. Im just another keyboard recovery guy but with a little more of an analytical mind than most, so I really pay attention to your techniques and watch how the equipment reacts under the different circumstances. All vehicles have their strengths and weakness and thought I had spotted a weakness in the 5 ton, yet I've only seen you use it a few times where it really had to work, so admittedly a very small data sampling. I admit that the Noddy is my favorite, that thing is just awsome, such a unique vehicle. It just needs a little better protection for the operator. I think if there was a road to the moon the Noddy could handle it. I will of course keep watching and continue to enjoy the ride. Thanks

Boy that 5-ton didn't even break a sweat! Talk about having the right tool for the job.
