I really want to get better at skates but man do I just love rollerblades. Ironically, I find it a lot easier to dance with inlines than with quads, but it might be because of my style of dancing. Not a lot of leg,a lot of arm😂

Inlines have always been my bread and butter; they were more intuitive to me when learning. It felt like I just had an obligation to the rollerblades to not lose momentum or velocity TO JUST not fall. Then I found how fast I could go with them lol

Ok this is actually really funny, because I do both. At the rink that I go to they do races on Sundays and skate dance Saturdays so I wear roller skates on Saturday and roller blades on Sunday.

🛼 are for like having fun , rollerblades are things like you can ride a two wheeled bike without those stops and can ⛸ too and if u wanna go on other terrains. I prefer roller skating because I can’t balance side to side and I think I might be able to rollerskate bc I have an idea of how it feels and I’m getting some in summer! ❤

Depends, if your young with strong ankles then blades, if your older, you need professional lessons or good help from someone strong on either, on skates. I've done this to help an older gent start, on skates.

i started on quads and i was more scared of them bc of falling backwards and forwards. i moved to blades and after going around a rink multiple times with my parents on multiple days i got the hang of it and now i love blading. for beginners u should also get pads (wrist pads, knee pads) bc then if u fall forward or to the side it doesn't hurt as much. (proper way without pads is to fall on your butt) me personally i say blades w pads, while quads do have a toe stop i can safely say i've never used the toe stop (quads) or heel stop (blades) its a preference rlly.
