Ah... the smell of a freshly coated skating floor that I got to smell last week while visiting Ohio. Brookpark Skateland, the best roller skating rink ever. And now, Johnny Jammon on the Lowery Organ...Let's All Skate!!!

Brilliant as usual Johnny, and thank you so much for your support at the "HOAKP" group encouraging others to keep playing my friend. A good Lotto win and I would have a Lowrey Stirling on its way from Australia to New Zealand. ASAP. The comment somebody made about the some makes of organs needing complicated programming compared with the Lowrey, is interesting. I had always had Lowreys, but as they declined a bit in the UK in the mid 90's I looked at both the Technics GA3 and the Yamaha EL90 as future replacements.(It took me 10 years to get an MX1). The Technics whilst not Tabbed, was laid out similarly to the older Lowreys, The bass pedals felt almost as close to the ground as the Lowreys that I had had, and you could switch on, and Play as a straight organ immediately. The Yamaha EL90 was messy to even start to play and did not feel as sturdy. Great to see your magic fingers there. Thanks. Robin.

actually younger than that I was a baby when he met me , Johnny was great friends of my mom they were friends when they were young kids , he's played organ and anything with keys he played 2 organs at a time

Is that version of the Pinetop's Boogie Woogie generally the same one done by the old skating rink organist Rich Broglio? Sounds great! Also, what year model Lowrey is that?

2010 model Lowrey Prestige Rich Broglio was my musical influence. I play the song exactly as he did. I played at his rink from 86 to 90 as his choice releiver. Thx 4 your comments. Johnny Sharp
