Awesome Nostalgia Video!!! Rollers was such a plus for Milton Keynes, used to always go with friends from Aston Clinton and Aylesbury back in the day! Give me a pair of Bauer Turbo's any day over an electric scooter!! 💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️🍻🍻🍻🙏🙏

Incredible video! Wow what a throwback, thank you for posting this. I used to go to activity land after school club and used to walk past this all the time to get to the play area behind it. I’ve tried to find videos and pictures of it and never have until now! Almost brings a tear to my eye. Definitely need to bring this back

@@MidiansMusic MK is really missing a place like this, it baffles me how we don’t have a proper skate rink here. Can’t believe you used to work there man. Incredible place

Great times! We had nothing like this in Birmingham so used to travel to MK with a few car fulls on a Fri or Sat night in the very early 90s. Such a great place. Many happy memories of Rollers in MK.

It’s bizarre seeing kids sat drinking pop where I was absolutely off my tits having it to HMS and loftgroover the weekend before.

I worked here in 2000. Used to love the "Death Slide " The equipment was very worn out at the end, and thought they made a mistake making the skating rink smaller by adding the carts. I wonder what happened with the statue that was behind the DJ Booth.

Anyone know the tune at around 8:48? This video needs a playlist, pronto! Such nostalgia... It's been soooo long since I've stepped foot into Rollers, it's so amazing to see it once more!!

Sounded briefly like Happy Clappers - I Believe ... I maybe wrong though, but still a classic tune :oD .. kzbin.info/www/bejne/faa3mmaca6ilnas

BINGO! You were almost spot on the money! The samples were exactly from there, so I looked thoroughly for remixes and other tunes that may have sampled from it, and ahoy! .. kzbin.info/www/bejne/on_TlI2vrtCggsk Thanks alot guys, much appreciated =3

@MidiansMusic5 жыл бұрын
No, they never owned the place as it was owned by Paul Sharp (who also owned Rollerbury). Curtis is still around, not DJing anymore.

Not sure when it opened but I was there 1989 - 1990... that adventure world crap wasn't there at the end and the rink was bigger. The DJ had Technics 1210s It was all new and seemed pretty plush at the time. There was a bar above the restaurant, we used to pass for minors to pay the cheap price to get in, and then get served alcohol (snake bite and black usually) in the bar upstairs, followed by a juicy Rollerdog™. Fucking top times. Big up the oldskool LB Rollers crew!

My name's Chris from 50 Shades of Milton Keynes fan page on Facebook. I've been doing some research for Milton Keynes and come across this classic video. I was wondering if we could put it on our page, with a credit to you of course, as some viewers have problems viewing KZbin videos on certain devices (for whatever reason). Many thanks :o)

Not a problem Chris, thanks for asking. I also have 100's of photos from Rollers too...well, I did basically live there for 10 years!
