Totally agree on Escape from Innsmouth. Far too much RNG in there for my liking. Once you’ve found out the solution in the first 1-2 attempts it becomes a drag to try and fight your way through and rely too much on luck to succeed

I haven't played many of them, but for now one of the early ones with the dock and the fire has been my favorite. We played the museum one yesterday, pretty cool one too. We always loose by just an inch.

@@Phaelen2003 there's really no amount of exploration that can detail the first scenario, though... And after one or two goes at it, you should know the goals and what to expect... Right? I have a feeling there's some rules you're misunderstanding too

@@kyleweir689 oh there is very much a possibility that I am missing rules. It's not uncommon for me to make games harder than they should be. For example: first time mansion caught fire I was spreading fire every turn in every direction.

I love all the scenarios in MoM, and I have played each multiple times. What I'm not a fan of is the miniatures and their bases. Some the of mini's (especially those in Threshhold) are too fragile to use any force to place them into the small holes of the base. Otherwise, great production.

I glued my figurines to the bases. Much less annoying. Guess it depends on if you have extra space to store them separately, but they mostly fit in a gallon Ziploc.

Hey! Nice video. *like*. I’ve bought the basic set and the Beyond the Threshold set and enjoy them very much. Would you recommend buying a First Edition set in order to get the tiles and characters? Should I rather buy the other two packs? Thanks

I agree, buy the First edition expansions. More tiles, monsters, and investigators plus 1 new scenario per expansion. Basically, each expansion you buy adds more and more variety. The non first ed expansions like Streets of Arkham - you get 3 scenarios to play. In Beyond the Threshold - you get 2 new scenarios. The new and latest expansion, Sanctum Twilight - 2 more scenarios. There are also 2 DLC scenarios to buy. 15 scenarios in all now as of this posting. 4/21/18

I use my Liked Videos as a way to shuffle music i like, I never "like" any normal videos cuz then itd be added to that. But I just did to this video, and subbed.. Thank you for mentioning Valkyrie. Never heard of that before and over the past 2 weeks I bought 2nd Ed and all 4 expansions (to add my complete 1st Ed into)... Have played 6/19 so far..

@@scrooge-mcduck XD You must be new to FFG then ;) As long as it doesnt make them money they wont do it. Period. There IS a fanmade campaign tool out there called valkyre, maybe check that out. But it hardly has any maps because campaign creation is a bit complicated....

@@bobdole8830 Yes, this is true, I am new to MoM, but was thinking about "added value" in my statement, bing the free advertising/popularity, etc. Fans, often times, have been proven (according to Murpy's Law) to write scenarios/mods for games far better than the originators themselves :) That does not rule out FFG releasing paid content updates to keep the product fresh. Thanks for the tip, I'll certainly check that tool out.

Gregory Dworak Of course it makes sense that's why FFG won't do it. Plus they aren't that competent from a technical point of view so I guess they only have one or two programmers and the rest is hired work (if they even have a programmer). So making the game available on the workshop would require work and money they very likely won't invest

First I really like the game… but after brilliant Time Story and Erdrich horror Mom2 looks like boring tokens management waste of time! Mostly scenarios is just boring and not really interesting stories. There is much better games in my opinion… biggest disappointment 😣 for me

FFG's apps look slick but they lack a lot of functionality in terms of randomization. They are too lazy to fix this either. Their entire business model is copy paste their games into a blender and re purpose stuff.

Personally i dont like MoM, spending half the time looking at your phone or tablet etc, the other half is spent looking for the tiles its asked you to get long after set up lol, very clunky and never seems to get going.

I actually stopped playing this game based purely on the fact that I HATED the Mastermind mini game so much. The app should have included an option to disable certain puzzles, I want to be playing a Horror boardgame, not bloody Mastermind which I suck at.
