This is definitely one of the better videos explaining this game. Games Made Easy seemed like just a summary of the rulebook. This gave me more context and understanding of how everything works together. Thank you!

Always great to come back to this video when it's been a bit between sessions. You cover everything so efficiently. Keep up the great work !

Why are people complaining? I understood everything 100%. This is a great video. I previously watched a 30 minute video of how to play and I learned nothing. This video is what helped me learn to play.

I watched this to confirm that I read through the rules correctly, so it was very helpful! I'm ready to go!

2:24 discard pile should be face down I believe.

This is a lot to get out in 5 minutes, so really well done. The only thing I noticed that was incorrect is that when cards are discarded, they are done so face down.

That;s a problem isn't it? I had to re-watch number of times and then just move on to a slower paced explanation and rule book. When he said in 5 minutes, I expected this game to have much less moving pieces and conditions

Haven’t played Everdell for over a year. Love your quick videos to help refresh my memory. I’m off to play now.

I still honestly have no clue how to play this game.

I realize this comment is from 2 years ago, but generally if a “how to play” video for a board game is only 5 minutes it’s not meant to teach you the game. You’ll want to find AT LEAST a 15 minute video for most games. And if it’s a “# minutes or less” video, go elsewhere if you’re trying to learn the game 😆

if you are still here hope you played the game it is amazing

watch a longer video to learn the game for the first time. this video is best for me, as someone who has played before a while ago and now want to play again but need a refresher on a few things.

The one thing that has always confused me are the point tokens. For example when do you give someone a point token? The points are already listen on each card. Do you only get a point token if it’s something you won’t remember like from an effect on a card?
@tsjbb Жыл бұрын
I know your comment is from a long time ago but just incase anyone else is wondering too, there are certain cards and worker spaces that give you point tokens instantly and some that use point tokens in interesting ways. You only need to give players point tokens when specifically told to, you are right that you don't need to give point tokens every time you play a card

Watching this video was like listening to Ben Wyatt heartily explain the Cones of Dunshire to Leslie. You're a good player.... Probably picked up some tricks along the way... But you forgot the essence of the game... It's all about THE CONES.

I thought this was a co-op game, but I suppose not. Glad I found a video. I'm trying to find something like the Stardew Valley board game to play.

I know its been 2 years but... did you know there's literally a Stardew Valley board game out?
@MidoriMushrooms Жыл бұрын
@@LovaynPlays ...yes, that's why I said I was looking for something similar to it. I own it. Edit: It's also been 2 years and i got over my allergy of competitive board games anyway, plus I've accepted there just aren't any co-op games like the SV board game.

Hot tip: you don’t get resources from your workers every turn. It’s one and done, the workers only get resources when placed on the tile. My first game we got fresh resources every turn from our existing workers and it broke the game 😶

I get why the art is so gorgeous; Nobody would ever purchase the game if he/she were outright made aware of the gd complicated rules.

lol, I just bought this thinking it would be easier for the kids. nope.

Complicated, or simply more to the game. It's not a game of go fish. It's an attractive game of complexity & this is why I love it
@briesullivan8832 жыл бұрын
What if the complexity is exactly why people bought it?
