I love your tent set up. If you do your new tent that way, you should post up a video of how you build the compartments in the sled and the bed on the top. I have watched a ton of videos of ice fishing and your setups by far the most comfortable looking

Thank you very much! My new tent is set up in the garage right now. Still deciding how I want to set it up. It will be more for day Fishing and I want to keep it as mobile as possible. Still mulling over ideas in my head. For sure I will make a video of that build. Thanks again for watching the videos! Have a great season.

Let me get through the next fishing trip at Henry’s lake in Idaho and I will get to work on the sled for Flaming Gorge down in Wyoming. Thanks for the push!

@@prospectoroutdoors I love both those lakes. Maybe we’ll see you at the bash down there this season! I’m planning on going

That would be great! Keep in touch and you never know. What part of the west do you live in? Not many guys fish both of those lakes . 😝

Great video of our trip Joe. That really came together. Now if I could just get some more fish to cooperate with my offerings. Thanks for putting these together 👍🎣🎣

Thanks buddy. As tightlipped as the fish were this trip, I wasn’t sure that we could put something together at all. I am happy with the way it turned out. My only regret is that we didn’t point out your new tent! Got a love the Bay Runner.

@@prospectoroutdoors good thing you had the cam there when they did cooperate. As for the bay runner, it will be out again no doubt

That minnow is a baby small mouth bass
@prospectoroutdoors4 жыл бұрын
You know, I never thought of that. That would explain some of the spots on top. It did have markings on the sides that looked like trout. Also, the forked tail might be problematic for a bass. I will check it out again. What do you think of my thoughts? Thanks a lot for chiming in. I am genuinely curious about this.

After looking again, I’m still not sure it could be a bass because of the dorsal fin
@Muskyon464 жыл бұрын
@@prospectoroutdoors I was thinking trout with the fins and spots. I'll tell you one thing it is for sure at that size FOOD!

Hey prospector. Do you have a video about how you made that chair?

I will get one put together. 😉 Thanks for the idea!

@@prospectoroutdoors My Dad is 84 years old and I'd like to get him out on the ice if I can. I am hoping to make something like this easy chair to get him off an on the ice. with my track sled. I'm hoping it will be stable enough, but I maybe have to choose the conditions carefully. In any case I would like to see how you made that chair! Thanks for the reply.
@prospectoroutdoors2 жыл бұрын
That sounds like a great plan. I think it would be plenty stable. I’ve actually thought about making it my primary sled for the track machine.

How deep did you guys fished from?

Between 15 and 25 feet if I remember correctly.

That's the biggest burbot I've seen out of the gorge

That is so cool. I wasn’t sure how it stacked up with other groups of fishermen. My group has seen a couple at 28” but a 30” takes the cake so far. I have seen some pigs at the weigh ins for the Burbot Bash. Can’t remember exactly how much bigger though.
