Is there any risk of over charging it when leaving it in the charging dock?

Have this one standard in my bag. Great to have it EDC when end of the day if you need some extra juice just in case. Not on my keys because does not fit in my keypouch and do not use the charger mounted to the wall. Love that I do not have to bring extra cables and even helped some friends with different phones. For travelling I use a another bigger one with much more capacity which also a lot heavier and do not what to bring on daily basis. The Tau charges 35 to 45% depending on the phone you have. So not great for travelling also capacity is to low for that but great for emergency juice if you are on the go.

Hey Tom, There’s an additional major issue with this as a travel battery. The tsa only allows 2 batteries that are each 100Wh or less regardless of the battery capacity so you’re giving up a lot of capacity if you decide to take this one. This is only relevant to airplane travel though. I agree it’s a great emergency powerbank that’ll take up no space in a sling or even dropped in a pocket. I’m also not a fan of it as a keychain attachment, it’s just to big for that. It’s also kind of sad it uses micro usb and usb a on the charging cable. I mean it’s 2021 for goodness sake… use usb c already. Cheers, Christopher

Because its supposed to charge various devices, not all devices have usb C. Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

Small devices and small battery packs don’t need usb c speed-power plus everyone has a usb a charger everyone does not have a usb c

I’m not sure who told you this. I took 4 power banks on my most recent trip no problem
