Before I bought the CD, I didn’t like Angry, but after listening to the CD, I actually began to like it. This CD is magical, the more you listen to the songs, the more you like it. And my favorite song changes everyday.

Wondering about the absence of Chuck Leavell 🤔 It's cool they've included guest keyboardists (Elton, Stevie, Benmont, etc) but Daryl isn't the only absence! Jordan on drums is continuation of Watts' request too. I haven't heard the album yet. I plan to, but I aint expecting sticky fingers either.

Also I noticed Steve Jordan is listed as "musical director of the rolling stones" (per Wikipedia) a position that was Chuck's.

I've heard similar comments from others who reviewed this album. Mine is on the way. Can't wait until it gets here. By the way, good to have you back. I am subscribed and dig your videos. Lastly, have you heard of a band called Magnum. And if so can you a video on their records? Like to hear what your favorite albums are and why.

Nice, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I really love the album, it’s very eclectic. Good flow, too, especially on vinyl.

Great review. Their will be a cd and bluray edition being released shortly. In my opinion it’s there best album since Voodoo Lounge. But I enjoy and analysis music and albums differently to most.

I love voodoo lounge, my only gripe about that is it being too long with some filler. But that was the first album they recorded during the exclusivity cd era, and tried to use all 80 min, along with a lot of other bands

Something I'm starting to do to protect Digipak cases and similar a bit is using something like a Ziplock sandwich bag. These should protect against shelf wear but might look tacky. I don't display my CDs on a shelf, so looking tacky isn't a concern of mine.

Good idea, I do use the resealable cd plastics that some used cd stores have to protect my autographed cds

Very weak - nothing remotely in The Rolling Stones' upper level of quality. Commercial superficial pop fluffery with limited repeat listening rewards. All in all - probably their worst album ever - yeah, really. So - given their age and mileage and the fact they are a spent force - I'll give them credit for trying - but I buy music to listen to - and after 20 listens of this new album I probably won't listen to this more than 5 more times the rest of my life. This really is garbage. A Bigger Bang from 2005 was a much better album.
