Glad You Tube allowed this to stay so all of us old folks who were fans in the early 60's can see how our are idols are holding up as most of us are now in our 80' and 70's. Always a fan of the Rolling Stones.

its actually usually the GREEDY Record labels that take it down... as I DONT Monetize my vids (not my music/work)... Plus Labels automatically always get a copyright claim and get $$... which is fine, its the LABLES that make it not viewable... those are the ones that are CORPORATE GREED and stuck up... Like The label for Odesza...

Unbelievable! Charlie passes away and they kick it up another ten notches with Steve Jordan. This is incredibly inspriring on so many levels.
@dennycranium3 жыл бұрын
Yes, SJ is playing at bit faster tempo. In 2018, the tempos slowed down a bit too much. (I think Charlie was nursing an old injury) I am NOT criticizing Charlie's skill at playing. He'd slowed down a bit, is all.

Without Charlie they're not the Stones to me. I saw one of Charlie's last shows and the groove he laid down blew my hair straight back off my head! imo he hadn't slowed down a lick and I've been listening to them since 1970.
@dennycranium3 жыл бұрын
@@mrsdelongchamp I love Charlie. Was playing some Japan showns from 2006. He helped to get the tracks to levitate, as Keith so aptly put it. In 2017,2018, 2019 I noticed on SOME nights the tempo was a bit off. Others did, too. I saw two shows back to back in 2019. The Canadian show followed by Foxboro. Foxboro was by far the better show. I've seen the band 50+ times since 81. I can only go by what I'm hearing

The Stones or what’s left of the Stones, keep rolling because a Rolling Stone gathers No Moss. Didn’t you know that? Your right though. It does feel different without Watts. He was their backbone. It’s bound to feel different. He was as they used to say, rock steady. He kept a reliable, steady beat and had a wry sense of humor. He just wasn’t easily impressed and he was a great drummer. I will genuinely miss him and his wry smile. But he’s on all the recordings so he made his mark. RIP Charlie Watts
