Oh, thanks for the video my friend! Challenge accepted! I've already come up with lots of variations on this type of movement: a single moving limb, homo-lateral as we did, contro-lateral as you do here too, 3 moving limbs and one that doesn't move, homologous (the 2 arms or the 2 legs), all 4 limbs moving at the same time, and each time with the option of doing more gliding movements without losing contact with the ground, or more aerial movements (without contact with the ground), or mixing the 2 options. There's a lot to play with!

Tim, great stuff as always. Have you tried the occlusion bands with heavy hands style marching in place? What about for 10-15 minutes of Hindu squats?

Belgium?! But my name isn't Emma. You should have said, I was just there with my wife. Do I know Emma? Any, fun option, but it sounds like you've got some floor softening there, my gym floor is a little hard. I'll have to think about that one.

@@emmanuellegomez8020 Hey Emma, Liege right?! I lived in the Flemish region when I was young. I was just there in October, funeral. I worked as a strength coach with Lieven Maesschalck in the 90's-00's. In Australia now. I only have a home gym, no special flooring but I like Tim's work so I usually figure something out to copy his recommendations. 🤙

Floors do make the difference between a good experience and a not great experience!

@@wayne5741 Yes, Liège! I'm a physiotherapist and we also have a room dedicated to movement practice. In 2019, I went to Germany for a workshop in a room equipped with tatami mats and when I came back, I said to my husband: we need this! It's completely changed the way we practice and get people to practice movement, without being contained by the limitations of a conventional gym mat. It also brings a lot more interaction to be all on the same floor rolling and moving. We also have 2 tatamis at home (4m2) which are usually in my physiotherapy practice, so pleasant for the patients and for us too when we need to go on them.
