@@Turk_2023 He either quit or got fired (Rollins refers to Weiss' laziness and constant pot smoking as a primary reason to fire him in the book "Now Watch Him Die," saying he was gone as soon as the tour was over). It depends on who you talk to. I tend to believe Rollins, who talks about his issues with Weiss throughout the book. However. Rollins is a huge Ween fan, and you can find stuff all over the place where he compliments the band. I think there's not a lot of bad blood between the two. depression is a disease you can't just come out of. It's not the blues like he is talking about, it is major depressive disorder, a clinical medical condition that needs medication to control and it can't ever be cured....... everyone gets the blues now and then because of life.... that is normal.... someone leaves you , you feel low and down about yourself....... normal. etc etc. life's problems get us all down.... Clinical depression is different. I have it, I should know and nobody or nothing is ever gonna take it away. No matter how hard they scream at me, tell me I am inside myself too much or whatever..... I have clinical depression....... I can't just think it away....... I need Wellbutrin XL to make it feel less so that I don't have thoughts of suicide, doubt, self-hate , etc etc. It's not regular feeling blue that goes away after a day ......... try months at a time....... for years at a time.

I went to an album shop in NYC as a kid. Bought this cd and had to call my best friend in another state. Played it on my walkmen to the phone so he could hear it. Good times...

He’s always been, since I first heard him sing, my bartender/my priest/my shrink/my big brother rolled into one entity. Would love to meet him and tell him that’s what he brings to the table and it’s pretty fucking amazing and also rare to be able to be that guy

I think you got a low self opinion man I see you standing all by yourself Unable to express the pain of your distress You withdraw deeper inside You alienate yourself And everybody else They wonder what's on your mind They got so tired of you And your self ridicule They wrote you off and left you behind You sleep alone at night You never wonder why All this bitterness wells up inside you You always victimize So you can criticize yourself And all those around you The hatred you project Does nothing to protect you You leave yourself so exposed You want to open up When someone says Lighten up You find all your doors closed Get yourself a break from self rejection Try some introspection And you just might find It's not so bad and anyway At the end of the day All you have is yourself and your mind You sleep alone at night You never wonder why All this bitterness wells up inside you You always victimize So you can criticize yourself And all those around you Yeah you got a low self opinion, man I see how it breaks you down I see how it messes you around The self hatred that binds you Blinds you grinds you keeps you down The world falls down around you You build up walls around you You wear disgust like a crown If you could see the you that I see When I see you seeing me You'd see yourself so differently Believe me I know the self doubt that runs inside your mind I know the self doubt that treats you so unkind If you could see the you that I see When I see you seeing me You'd see yourself so differently Believe me

+Jaret Wood Definitely Pantera. Vulgar Display of Power all the way to Reinventing the Steel. A lot of bands give it up but Pantera are like the James Brown of Metal.

Yeah, i grew up listening to Pantera, and Sepultera especially. I still don't feel the intensity that i feel with Henry Rollins though (just a personal thing)
@GoodTimesWithBad8 жыл бұрын
+Jaret Wood In some of his spoken word stages, he talks about Iggy Pop from The Stooges having so much more insanity than him and he has repeatedly tried to out-do him in shows they play together, yet he never could. there's a video on here of him talking about it.
