@@Qlawkes but rollins add some dynamic to the squad. her storylines and mysterious past are always fun to watch and she gives the viewers something to relate to (rollins has struggled with drinking, gambling, the abuse as a child, her rape, and just how her character acts). i know that people can relate to benson as well, but it's not the same as rollins (in my opinion). this is just a character so i know everyone perceives them differently, but that's just my take on it

Rollins is the perfect character to have opposite Benson. They are so different yet so alike. Benson always thinks everyone's a victim and Rollins always think nobody is really a victim.

Getting to know Rollins has been a turning point for me. At a time where I was not able to have compassion for myself, I could see right through her. Today, I just want to share how grateful I am for the way Kelli brings her to life and for the writers that have created her. I’ve turned my life around. Not thanks to her, I had to put in the hard work. But she’s definitely been the trigger. Watching her grow over the years has brought me so much hope. I’m so proud of her, the way I’m proud of myself. I’m not a social media person, I respect people’s privacy the way I want mine to be respected. But I have one wish. I would love for the creators of the show to know how much Rollins means to me, and for Kelli to know that she has inspired me to become a better version of myself. I hope someday I will be told that they know how much their work means to me. Nobody, in the real world or the television world has been able to reach me like she did. I will forever be grateful for her. I miss her, like I miss a dear friend. I can’t wait to see her back on screen. Season 21 has by far been my favourite because we got to see Rollins facing all those challenges and learn from them, instead of spiralling back down. Do you even know what that means for someone who comes from a broken home to break the cycle? She’s doing so well. It’s a long and messy road, but she’s got this. Thank you deeply for season 21. I can’t wait to see Kelli in season 22.

On the contrary, she says he is a moron to believe that she was okay with his decision. I feel like she always put her emotions first (even if, with the terrible challenges she had to face, both in her childhood and as an adult, it's understandable). I still believe that Carisi is a much better friend to Rollins that she is to him. I didn't mean to imply that they aren't friends, or that she doesn't care for him ; it's just that I feel like she cares about her a lot more than Carisi's happiness. And I know that some people want (wants ? ) them together, not me ; but at this point, Carisi deserves so much to have a (happy) love story, even just for a couple of episodes, that I could settle for the both of them together.

When they first introduced Rollins I felt she was hard to read and understand as a character.
