That was fitting for Rollins. She's all about quickies, as is obvious by all her drunken one night stands while hitting all the bars. Bangs the bartender right under Carisi's nose & he's still interested in her. He should've had her run a full battery of STD tests before that wedding & he shouldn't be too sure that third kid is even his. She already has two illegitimate kids by two different guys.Once a ho, always a ho.

I agree on the importance of the hospital scene. It gives the viewers an indication of how Carisi feels for Rollins early on in their developing friendship. Asking his devout Catholic mother to light a candle in church for Amanda shows his concern for her and the baby….also…tells us that he’s already talked to his mom about Amanda.

He was only supposed to guest star for three episodes. They wanted him to rile up the place, so I assume it was just to lay the foundation for what his character was originally supposed to do. But then they liked him, shaved the moustache, and slowly started to rewrite his character to make him more likeable/mature.
