The thing about WoW that I found most compelling when I played it was exploring this awesome new world. The mechanics and dungeons were just filler for me; what was really awesome was exploring these giant, epic environments of the world.

I had a dream two nights ago that I had to run a 15km race with ice skates on. I had to pass through multiple shacks or something and everywhere they pulled some kind of bullshit like throwing a ton of water on the floor right in front of you. I can't remember much else except that it pissed me off which resulted in me waking up.

And i had a dream about meeting in person a famous youtuber who makes videos about survival and military stuff - The Bald Dude from Brazzers. Too much internet and too many memes about him being good in every job that my stupid brain put him between Bear Grylls and Steve Irwin. ....and he was quite hardcore. He was in the jungle with leg prosthetics because he lost his own legs in Himalayas and stuff.

You know, this is not the first time in RollPlay when a critical battle against a Shadowy enemy got much worse after it was allowed to simply slip out the front door and into an unsuspecting village. At the risk of suggesting playing too meta; ya'll gotta keep that shit contained.

You can change the rolls in the character sheets to make it roll one number instead of advantage.

Wait how did Velimir do sneak attack damage when shooting at a half cover target and had no advantage on his roll? Am i missing something here? And also are they not playing with cover rules? Just being curious not a rules lawyer :P

If theres an ally within 5ft of an enemy, Rouges get their sneak attack. taking advantage of the enemy being distracted. And I think Bearn was within 5ft

In the MM the CR for the shadows are 1/2. So for a group of 4 level 1 characters a normal fight would be 2 shadows. The group is level 2 and has help so 4 is about right, at least going by the MM ratings.

A deadly encounter for this group is 600 adjusted xp. Each shadow is what 100 XP a piece? So 400 then you double that because you have 4 enemies so you have an 800 adjusted xp encounter. You'd have to throw in two more lvl 2 NPC (these guys are not) to drop the difficulty down to hard. CR is based on a party of four PCs. If using CR, 1/4 per level worth of CR per party member is a challenge (will require a rest afterward). It's going to take forever for this group to level up if they keep getting these large encounters. Especially since they keep running from every milestone.

Adam telling them how the shadows reproduce and everything seemed like too much information to give them. I don't see why the characters would know that kind of stuff or why Adam would give it to them.

In MY game a character can select the Monsterology Skill which would on a very good roll give them pretty much all the information on that specific monster type in question. Now if the roll was bad or failed then they could not glean any significant information for that kind of monster until the character had further increased this skill through study on their next Level...
