This is already my favorite system that they have done on any of the Rollplay shows. No levels, interesting character creation without crippling rolls and the low fantasy setting already deals with many of the issues I have with D&D based rpgs. The way time moves forward also creates a really cool and much more realistic setting where adventure isn't around every corner but rather something that happens on special occasions (aka playcetions).

1 Libra is about half the yearly money spend for the Knights own upkeep (gear maintenance, food, etc.) It's 1/6th of the total yearly maintenance for full Knights-family upkeep.

This is based more on the mythological Arthurian Britain, with mounted knights and chivalry and magic. Also Bretons live in Brittany. Britons live in Britain. Though Bretons are Britons ancestrally.

Dav Free What was the name of it again? It was something like warlord or similar. With the main character being the guy named on D-something. Anyway, Cornwell is a great pseudo-historical writer. I read all of the warlord? books, like 2 of the saxon chronicles(it stopped being published in my country i am pretty sure, i might have to look it up online at one point to read the rest) and like 1 and a half of the series based around the 100 years war(the agincourt or whatever series) , which i stopped reading halfway through the 2nd book, simply due to me thinking that it culminated in the battle of Agincourt and what followed faded in comparison.

Rex Splode Knight is a title, and it is one that was exclusively male. That's just how it was. Neither Jeanne d'Arc or Tamar of Georgia were knights. They may have fought in the gear of a knight, but they were not actual knights. EDIT: In fact, it is still exclusively male - now-a-days, the female equivalent is Dame.

No... there's a mythological history of the Arthurian Legend that includes Jousting early on (not invented until 1100's) and plate armour ~50 years later (not invented until 1400's). In the mythical timeline, Siege as an art wasn't perfected until later.

If it's not British history it is not English history. At this time England wasn't one united nation (just like Britain wasn't) but instead a collection of petty kingdoms. In fact, it would not be united under one ruler until after the invasion of the Great Heathen Army and subsequent restoration by Alfred (Ælfræd meaning Elf-Counselled) the Great. In fact, even the term England comes from the Old English Anglaland meaning "Land of the Angels"...as in Anglo-Saxons, who invaded the native inhabitants (who our heroes are playing as).
