Man I wish this had turned into an ongoing series, I still come back to it once or twice a year.

This reminds me a lot of Pendragon with all the small manors and strong family traditions and also the way you don't always have control over your character (although in this case because someone else makes them do something rather than due to character traits and passions)

Oh man... that apology from Eamon was the worst. I feel a viking would refuse to apologize and the whole thing would escalate to a duel... winner would be the one to draw first blood. Great episode, though. Enjoying this R&D so far.
@Dinawartotem9 жыл бұрын
RookRJ They aren't used to the setting, and it shows. xD Jesse needs to up the ante on his womanly wiles and get used to abusing the fact that he has tits /roll young/.
@RookRJ9 жыл бұрын
Knut Ivar Hellsten It certainly does show. It was just the first session, though. Hopefully they will polish their characters a bit more for the upcoming ones. If I were in +silent0siris shoes I would create some trouble for Eamon in the future because of that apology. Maybe some loss of respect from his crew or something.
@Dinawartotem9 жыл бұрын
The apology will probably lead to the son Ref dying to bandits or while raiding. ;p

Well lets see what happens - in the next episodes. Ingibjorg was a bit of a unpolished cliché of a character but i didnt expect more of crendor. Lets see if he can grow a bit in the next episodes. Really liked the girls male characters - they seem to be really awesome :-D Seeing how jessy will to suffer through his crew looks also intriguing.

I get the feeling Jesse wanted to be the possé leader of his three companion NPCs and Steven's responses are catching him a little off-guard. Can't blame him, Steven said when describing the setting that men and women had different roles but mutual respect but now Hilda's long time friends are kinda treating her like shit.
@earganon9 жыл бұрын
McBobghost I think Steven's responses are rather accurate, even though Men and women may be equal enough to allow females to take up arms, they are very unlikely to feel subordinate to one when it comes to acts of battle. They are not treating her like shit, they’re treating her like she's one of the guys.

Wait, if Steven comes from Montreal, does he speak French?
@gawquon9 жыл бұрын
a little bit, I'm not sure if he is fluent or literate but he knows some conversational French. If you watch swansong his current character throws around French phrases and he has had some short exchanges in French with the players in an old Missclicks campaign.
@tusharbhardwaj69639 жыл бұрын
marc rodrigue He can speak decent french ... his pc in swansong is french and he pulls it of quite well
@FLUFFERKINZ9 жыл бұрын
Steven is originally from South Carolina, I think, it was mentioned briefly on Swan Swong, but he is able to carry on a conversation pretty effectively as said before.

Love it so far, and Crendor is actually a nice rollplayer, BUT for the love of everything that is holy, could you for once in your life try and be a little professional and not speak when you shouldn't/not your turn to speak.

It's kind of cringy how little they understand of old norse culture and mythology, not that I can blame them for that though. But still, as someone who is from the region and knows a fair amount...
