you can fix those broken rubber mounts with locktight superglue . I had two broken ones on my spin dryer .i glued them with superglue not for a second expecting it to work but 2 years later they are still ok

Done an an amazing job there!! I have a Rolls Concorde. Great machine, and like you I have disconected the lid switch on the spinner, always got water in it and tripped my electric. I need to have a look at the spin pump though, doesn't want to work. Belt is fine, just doesn't pump. I have a feeling my ex has gotten one of those stupid comour catcher cloths caught in it. He alo broke the dial too. Ugh. How do you get the machine out of the casing? Bolts on the sides?

Yes, the 4 bolts on the sides release it and then the control , no more colour catchers at least 🤣. They seem very easy to work in, this was my first ever washing machine repair and If I can do it, anyone can 🤣🤣

Thanks Gazza, I do wish I could have fixed the heater and dials, but to have it the way it is now and working, I’m more than happy and very happy to have restored it.

What's the difference between the Rapide and Concord(e)?

Oooooooo, I like the retro use, but jeez! This one tangle like a buggar and you have to stand over them. I love using them every now and then, but for daily use, I’d get very bored of it very quickly.

Probably, but it’s totally beyond my knowledge to fix it, so the next future owner can sort it 🤣🤣🤣

Thanks Sam, I wish I had the electrical knowledge to fix the heater etc, but at least I’ve saved it from future rust and water damage and someone else in the future can fix the rest, but it works and works well and I’m chuffed with the results xxx
