As kids they own million dollar homes, completely updated, with cars that cost what peoples houses cost. Some people work 50+ years to not have a fraction of what they have been GIVEN. If I were in that position, I’m putting my nose down and doing whatever is asked of me as soon as it is asked of me. Yes they work for their dad, but I guarantee their pay is VERY NICE and they have nothing to worry about financially the rest of their lives, especially with the lessons they’ve learned. They have no idea what it’s like to struggle financially and they don’t realize how much of a blessing that is.

Vincent loves his dad but it’s crazy how he got thrown into managing this huge property, away from the rest of his family, and gets dinged at a ton. Him and Ben Jr struggled just as much as Big Ben financially and we don’t know their mom situations. Ben was literally dating 14 year old while they’re same age. Respect to Big Ben. As much as he teaches the kids, they'll never truly understand what it was like to start from nothing the way he did. He deserves all the respect in the world. He's very genuine. I get that people have days where they aren't in a good mood, but the kids owe EVERYTHING to him. Without him, they'd be nothing. I've always liked Vinson based on these videos, but this video he really rubbed me the wrong way. Ben Jr. shows the big place he has, and there's no doubt that his work ethic has helped him, but without Big Ben, he wouldn't be anywhere near where he's at today. Ben, watching this brings back memories of the battles but my brother and I were a lot younger than your boys (15). My old man raised us to own businesses and real estate. One big difference was until we were in our late 20’s, we had to work for someone else. He would involve us little by little. He basically said you need to learn by working on your own (the real world). This thinking paid dividends in the long run. At 18, I went to night school to learn about business accounting, taxes and law. Opened my business at 28. A body shop. I’m 58 now. I remember sweeping the floors so my guys could keep working. My thinking was why pay good money to have my production guys do something non productive like cleaning the floors. Also, when they saw the owner in there busting his ass, they gained new respect. A father and son relationship is a beautiful one but can be very volatile. Watching you it’s like looking into the past. I miss my old man. It’s probably why I watch your channel.

Just for future reference. I have been in the NNN commercial space about 20 years. Stay away most of the time from 2 tenant properties. When you go to resale lenders do not like them unless they are both investment grade credit rated tenants with long term leases for the buyers. If you have one credit grade and one non-credit grade the lenders want a ton down with low leverage. The reason is one weaker tenant goes out there is not typically enough to pay the debt service mortgage. So 3 tenant retail centers for financing are often better or stand alone single tenant with great credit. That is why not many 2 tenant buildings are constructed.

To be totally honest with you Ben, me and my father fight like that sometimes too. As kids we understand what you provide for us and sometimes we come off as ungrateful but you also need to understand that sometimes you guys as elders totally disregard everything we do as well and almost put us down emotionally where we feel like we are worthless regardless of accomplishments or money made. I guess the only reason we do get that way is because we genuinely do love/care for each other but it is hard to express it from both sides of the table.
