The drug that Vincent bought was heroin, not cocaine. That's why he shot it up. Later Mia found it in Vincent's coat pocket and thought it was cocaine because it was in a baggie, instead of a balloon as heroin was typically sold. She sorted what she thought would have been a decent amount of coke but it was a HUGE amount of heroin, especially for someone who wasn't a regular user, and that's why she od'ed.

After all these years, I just caught that she says that the "Japanese" Fox was a "Kung Fu" master. Also, when were you going to realize the watch story was a flashback of Butch's childhood? Also, most reviewers don't realize that Marvin is the informant that ratted out his friends, and that's why his life was "spared". He told Jules and Vincent when and where to show up. Even though some of the situations seem random, there's also nothing random about the interactions and the results. They all act as catylists and backdrops for a moral play and the choices we are all given that determine our futures.

How many young folks know who "Fonzie" is? Or "Arnold from Green Acres". I once found a script for PF on line. They were changes in the movie but the one I thought was most interesting was when Vincent and Jules were going back and forth about pigs and dogs being filthy or not, in the script, Jules said, "That would have to be one mother fucking charming pig. We're talking about the Cary Grant of pigs". I loved that reference! I imagine that it was changed because they didn't think either Jules or the audience would connect with Cary Grant. But I think it's much better than Arnold!

Mia snorted the heroin thinking it was cocaine, that´s why she had that overdose (heroin can be snorted as well, but the most common and "safety" way it´s like Vincent did, using a needle). And also Vincent goes a lot to the bath, due to he´s an heroin addict, and that provokes you, sometimes, a kind of incontinence.

Butch is on his way to Tennessee and stands in front of a Tennessee license plate in the pawn shop. Butch deals with 2 women who are both brunette, barefoot and have a foreign accent. Martin and Lewis impersonators are seen in the restaurant before Mia orders her Martin-and-Lewis milkshake. “The Pepsi challenge” anticipates the mention of “Coke to Pepsi.” Butch is also in a fight between two guys with the last names of two American presidents.

Great reaction. SO many people miss that fact that, under all the crime and INSANE tension, this is absolutely a comedy! It's even funnier on repeat viewings, when much of the tension is eased by knowing where things are going. 'Oh hold on, that was a sick camera move. How did they do that?' I can only tell you how I'd do it, probably matches the technique used here. Each of our 3 protagonists took 3 lives in the film. They all had an opportunity to take a 4th life, and this crossroad of taking a 4th life is what buys their freedom or seals their doom. Butch and Jules both spare the lives of their 4th victims, and they live beyond the film. However, Vincent decides to try to kill Butch, and it backfires on him.

I could be wrong but I always took Fabiana saying she wanted a pot belly was her way of telling Butch she wanted to get pregnant and she doesn't want to get punched in the belly. When Jules and Vincent are standing right before the fourth guy comes out and starts shooting, you can see there's already bullet holes in that wall. Just a fun continuity error. You didn't seem to catch the throwbacks to Reservoir Dogs like Vincent has the same last name as Vic, brothers, the junkyard is named Monster Joes. Joe the boss who put the heist together The background song at the beginning you liked was "Misirloy" by Dick Dale. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is really good IMO. I'm older so I can catch the references and am familiar with the history of the time. The suitcase is called a Mcgufin. It's something that's used several movies. When Vincent is doing the thing with his fingers across the eyes, it was an homage to the originaL Batman does it in a dance scene in an episode and was called the Batusi A GoGo. @Anthonylokison8 ай бұрын
Nope, that is just something a bunch of people say. And if it was his Soul then how did Vincent, Jules and Ringo all know what it was just by looking at it, when was the last time you saw a Soul? No that was a Macguffin, "A MacGuffin is a plot device used in films or books that sets the characters into motion and drives the story. A MacGuffin is an object, idea, person, or goal that the characters are either in pursuit of or which serves as motivation for their actions." Tarantino said in interviews that their is no answer to what was in the Briefcase, he just wants people to have conversations with each other trying to guess what was actually in it.

Jules is facing forward (away from Marv) because he is driving the car. How are there blood spatters on the front side of Jules' shirt? Makes sense that Vincent has them since he was facing towards Marv, but Jules was not. Tarantino, you did not think this through.
