Oh, Romain my friend. I believe this is one of your most intricate vocal performances yet. And the key makes it even more penetrating. And of course, the guitar solo - if I hadn't already been crying, the solo would have done it for me, for sure. Is Romain one of the best singer/song writers producing break up songs today? The lyrics in this piece of mastery make me think of the difficult discussion where one party in a relationship is no longer getting what they need from the relationship. The other party keeps saying: "But what about the things we've done, and what we still have yet to do." And also, "But you told me that you loved me - didn't you mean it?" But the unhappy party says "Stop crying, it won't make me stay. Just let me go." Absolutely crushing lyrics. We've all been on one side or the other in a relationship that isn't working, and Romain expresses that so well. Absolutely beautiful.
