love that you are real & not someone putting on a major production.

Hey there, hope this finds you well. It’s not my place to say but everyone is entitled to their opinions, what they like and don’t like, I’d say just have an open mind when you’re reading and don’t approach scripture with a mindset of “I know this” or “they are wrong we’re right”, I’m not saying that’s what you’re doing, it’s just some examples. I’m well aware that I may be in the wrong as well, just take it as “my opinion”. Because you can doesn’t mean you should, it’s a calling (James 3:1). To touch up on some points you brought up, for starters, to me personally it makes sense that Mary was one of a kind and had to be in some state of purification before the Holy Spirit could come and overshadow her (Luke 1:35). It’s not in the realm of impossibility that God can keep someone sinless for a specific purpose. -She’s considered the new arc of the covenant because just like the old arc in the Old Testament she carried the word made flesh, the mana etc… (hebrews 9 1-10). -Jesus at the transfiguration spoke to people that were consider dead (Matthew 17:1-13, Mark 9:2-8, and Luke 9:28-36). -In the times of old, to enter in covenant with God you had to go through circumcision (Genesis 17-14) which had to be done by the eighth’s day or you’d be considered an outcast. In the time of new it’s through baptism(Sacrament). We parents are responsible for teaching our children our faith, sending them to faith ministers is find and dandy by the bulk of the work should be the parents, then confirmation (Sacrament) at the age of reason. -When you read this verse (Colossians 1:24) in its context, what do you think it means? -As well as these in their context,(Matthew 12:32, 1 Corinthians 3:14-15, Hebrews 12:29, 1 Peter 3:19-20, 2 Maccabees 12:39-46, etc…). -As well as this in its context (John 6:46-70). Allow the spirit guide you as well (John 15:5). Maybe also check out the catechism of the Catholic Church if you want or can, the church fathers? I want to say the apocrypha as well, but I personally haven’t had time to look into those yet… May God help and guide us in our journey. Stay blessed!
